    An exercise in geometry, laser cutting, quilting, and patience. Demo'd at the Exploratorium Featured Makers in 2012. 2 years work and counting. Penrose tiling is an an aperiodic tiling with the additional property that it does not contain arbitrarily large periodic patches. Making the traditional method of quilt-making-- making 'blocks' that are then sewn together--useless.
